Creamy mustard chicken with peas and brown rice
If you like easy meals this is one you’ll love! The best part is-throw it all in one pan and put it in the oven!
2 Chicken Breasts
1/2 cup brown rice
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup peas
1 can cream of chicken soup (98% fat free)
1/2 can of milk
1/4 cup bread crumbs w/ Italian seasoning
1 tbs grainy mustard
1 tsp salt
1 tsp italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic salt
Preheat oven to 350. In a baking dish put water and brown rice. Next put in frozen peas (I put mine in frozen) and Italian seasoning. Put chicken breasts in the pan next. In a bowl whisk together the can of cream of chicken, 1/2 can of milk (I poured the milk into the soup can once i had emptied the soup into the bowl), mustard, salt and garlic salt. Pour over the chicken breasts, sprinkle the bread crumbs over the chicken and put in the oven for about 45 min-1 hr.
