Cedar Plank Salmon
This recipe is courtesy of my Father-In-Law, and I have to say, hands down, it is the best salmon I have ever had! Here’s what he told me he did:
Marinate the salmon for 3 hours in a combination of olive oil, soy sauce, fresh minced ginger and garlic. Soak a cedar plank in water. When you are ready to grill the salmon, place the salmon on top of the cedar plank, throw away the excess marinade, sprinkle the top of the salmon with pink Hawaiian Rock Salt and place a few slices of lemon and onion on top. Grill on plank in indirect heat for 15-40 min (depending on the size of your salmon) and remove when salmon temp. is 140. Enjoy!
